The ICE is a technical document in which information is collected on the degree of conservation of the building in its their common elements and the energy performance of the building exterior (roofs and facades). The inspection allows finding possible damages to the building while analysing the energy demand of the building.

The ICE is required in buildings destined for residential use when state aids towards the rehabilitation of common elements are requested. This report has incorporated the necessary documentation for processing aids toward rehabilitations, and is mandatory when works that affect the common elements of the building are carried out.

For this reason the promoters of each rehabilitation (condominium, owners ...) should addressed the relevant professionals, such as Aurea Arquitectos, to contract the elaboration of the report and include it in the documentation required to access the funds provided by the state.
